DIY Installation for Case Star Telescopic Handles
Below, we made simple step-by-step instructions for replacing the telescopic handles of a suitcase.
- Prepare your tools — a Phillips head screwdriver.
- Lay your suitcase flat and open the maintenance zipper on the side of the handles.
- Carefully unzip the maintenance zipper and use clips to hold it.
- Remove the protective foam (if applicable) and then the screws from the handle housing bracket and the trolley handle tubes.
- Remove the handle housing bracket and gently remove the entire handle.
- Insert the new handles and align the handle housing bracket into place.
- Secure the handle housing bracket with screws and press the protective foam back into place.
- Zip up the maintenance zipper, and your new handle is ready to go.
- Test the handles by extending and retracting them to ensure proper functionality.
